
Two executives who supported Taylor Swift’s early music have reunited to launch a brand new report label centered on growing cross-genre artists.
Huge Machine Label Group on Monday (July 7) launched a brand new imprint referred to as Ascend Music in partnership with music business veteran Joel Klaiman, with its first signing anticipated to be introduced later this week.

The launch of the brand new enterprise comes over a month after Borchetta joined the advisory board of Siebert Monetary, guardian firm of Gebbia Media, after the latter acquired Huge Machine Rock, the Nashville-based rock imprint of BMLG, from HYBE America.
BMLG was acquired by Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in 2019. The whole thing of Ithaca, together with BMLG and Braun’s SB Tasks, was then acquired by South Korea’s HYBE in a $1.05 billion deal in 2021.
