Downndetector, which tracks web sites, confirmed greater than 10,000 folks reported their broadband was not engaged on Monday morning.
Customers first started reporting points shortly after 10:00 GMT.
“We apologise for any inconvenience and are working to repair this as a precedence,” a Virgin spokesperson informed the BBC.
“We’re conscious that some clients are experiencing intermittent points with their companies,” they mentioned.
The agency says on its web site that along with O2, it represents greater than 45m cell, broadband, house and telephone clients throughout the UK.
It reported having 5.7 million broadband clients in October 2024.
In January 2024, Ofcom mentioned that Virgin Media was the UK’s most-complained about broadband supplier.
It has since improved in Ofcom’s standings and in February 2025 the regulator discovered it had fewer complaints than TalkTalk, EE and NOW Broadband.
